striker, Edinson Cavani has reacted to recent bad blood between him and Brazilian forward Neymar.
Cavani insisted that players of Paris Saint-Germain must be a “family” on the pitch.
The two South Americans clashed over the taking of a penalty in a league game against Lyon.
Speaking after a 3-0 thrashing of Bayern Munich in Wednesday’s Champions League clash, Cavani maintained that the atmosphere at the club was positive.
He told Mediaset Premium,
“We are all different, we might all have different ways of living and seeing things.
“But when we are on the pitch, we have to all work together as if we’re a family to go towards the same objective, which is for the team to win.”
Neymar and Cavani all found back of the net to see off the German heavyweights with Dani Alves opening the scoring in a convincing victory.
