Show of shame as two ladies fights dirty on street over a man they met at the shopping mall

In the street of America, two ladies had engaged in a fight in an argument over a man. The pictures and video which were shared on social media show two black American women fight dirty and physical.

It was learned that the fight started as a result of a misunderstanding between the two ladies over the same man who they fell in love with at the shopping mall.

This is not only ridiculous but disgraceful. People should learn decorum and self-control in public. This is an avoidable mistake on the side of the ladies. As a lady, how can you engage in a fight over a man you both newly met at a shopping mall the same day? The man has gone and the two are killing themselves over him. Lessons should be learned. Respect and self-dignity are supposed to be the watchword.

This fight began seriously between the two ladies without anybody knowing the born of contention. Some ladies tried to settle the issue but no way.

That is what happens when there is no self-discipline. There are many lessons to learn from here. Respect and high self-esteem can make one of them walk away at the heat of the argument. This is not limited to ladies, men also engage in such shame and displays and even more bloody at times.

Ahmed Gulak’s death was calculated to instigate the notherners against Igbos – Akeredolu

Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has reacted to the gruesome murder of Mr. Ahmed Gulak, a former political adviser to former president, Goodluck Jonathan.

It was earlier reported that Gulak was shot dead by unknown gunmen in Ngor-Okpala LGA of Imo state on Saturday evening. Akeredolu described the killing as ‘senseless’.

“The news of the death of an APC chieftain and former Special Adviser on Political Matters in the last Administration, Ahmed Gulak, in Owerri, Imo State, this morning, is very shocking and disturbing. The details of the tragic incident remain sketchy. A press statement credited to the Imo State Police Command claimed that some bandits were responsible for the gruesome murder of a man who was a visitor to the State. This is unacceptable.”

“This is one murder too many. It is senseless and wicked. The perpetrators of this heinous act are enemies of this country. This contrivance is meant to mislead, confuse and destroy. It bears the unmistakable, despicable imprints of fifth columnists bent on setting the country on the path of conflagration. These criminals must not be allowed to succeed.”

“We want to use this medium to express our solidarity with our brother Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma. We admonish him and other Governors in the South Eastern States to brace up, and confront the current security challenge to put an end to the bloodbath in the land. The enemies of the people always employ the weapon of fear to create disaffection in the polity.”

He added that the killing was calculated at instigating Nigerians against each other.

“This cowardly act is calculated to instigate Nigerians against each other, particularly Northerners, against the Igbo living outside the South East. We must confront the enemies of the people with a view to neutralizing them. This is definitely not the time for political correctness. Banditry should not be allowed to subvert the legitimacy of the current Government at all levels.”

“We call on all security agencies to collaborate with a view to unveiling the criminal elements sponsoring and undertaking terrorist acts. they must be punished, severely.”

Tompolo gives Buhari’ 7 days ultimatum to inaugurate NDDC board

Tompolo gives Buhari’ 7 days ultimatum to inaugurate NDDC board

EX-MILITANT leader, Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, on Sunday, issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to inaugurate the substantive Board of the Niger – Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

Tompolo, Ibe-Ebidouwei of Ijaw nation, in a statement, said: “I wish to call on Mr. President, members of the National Assembly and security agencies to work towards the constitution of the substantive board of the NDDC, within a few days, to avert a total breakdown of law and order that will equally affect crude oil exploration and exploitation activities in the region.

His words: “I hereby proclaim a seven- day ultimatum starting the date of this publication to inaugurate the substantive board of the Commission.”

“Senator Akpabio’s temporal reprieve from the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) protest is a child’s play compare to what is to come in a few days. He is about to be awakened to the rage of the Niger Delta region,” he warned.

The ex-militant leader, who had remain silent in the creeks of Delta state after Federal High Court, Lagos, dismissed the charges against him, stated: “I have watched and observed with keen interest the circumstances surrounding the constitution of the NDDC board for some time now. I would have continued to keep watching and observing, but for love of the region and the country.”

“The continuous running of NDDC by a sole administrator at the instance of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Akpabio, is undemocratic and anti-development, hence unacceptable to the people of the region. The people of the region are averse to a one man show in a commission that is supposed to attend to the developmental needs of nine states, namely, Abia, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo and Rivers. It will likely set the region on fire, sooner than later.

“The Act establishing the Commission provided among other things that it will be administered by a Board comprising of a Chairman, Managing Director, Executive Directors and Commissioners who will be drawn from the nine states that made up the region.

“However, this provision has been blatantly undermined by Senator Godswill Akpabio and his co-travelers in the Presidency. There is no provision for either Interim Management Committee or Sole Administration in the Act that establishes NDDC.

“Common sense will tell you that the so called forensic audit that has been used by Senator Akpabio to strangle the commission and it could still be best conducted with a substantive board that brings all representatives from the nine states and other parts of the country,” he added.

Drama as Emir of zazzau angrily walks out of Army’s passing out parade in kaduna

There was a mild drama on Saturday involving soldiers and the entourage of the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bamalli, during the Passing Out Parade of 6,400 new recruits enlisted into the Nigeria Army.

A misunderstanding ensued between the entourage of the Emir and some soldiers maintaining security at the entrance of the Depot Nigerian Army, a development that forced the emir to return to his palace.

It was gathered that the soldiers at the gate insisted that the entourage of the emir must put off the royal musical trumpet blazing the area, and this the emir and his entourage found insulting.

However, the commandant of the Depot Nigerian Army, Major General Abubakar Ibrahim, with his lieutenants, later visited the palace to apologise to the emir.

The emir later returned to grace the ceremony.

The POP was scheduled for last Saturday but was postponed to honour the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru, who died in a plane crash in Kaduna.

GOC 1 Mechanised Division, Kaduna, Major General Danjuma Ali Keffi, who served as the Reviewing Officer, also read the speech of the late COAS.

Late Attahiru said the Nigerian Army is determined to defeat all security challenges facing the country, as the Army has been professionally repositioned.

He said, with the passing out of the 80th Regular Recruits, the strength of the Army had been enhanced with the 6,400 soldiers, who have acquired all the professional training that made them combat-ready and efficient.

He urged the recruits to be patriotic in the discharge of their duties, assuring that the Army would not rest on its oars to deal with all criminal especially Boko Haram, armed bandits, kidnappers and IPOB.

Haverts First Half Goal Seals Chelsea’s Second Champions league success

Report as Chelsea beat Manchester City 1-0 to be crowned champions of Europe; Kai Havertz’s first-half strike seals Chelsea’s second Champions League success; Pep Guardiola’s attacking line-up backfired as Man City struggled in Porto; Thomas Tuchel seals first silverware as Chelsea boss

Chelsea were crowned European champions for the second time as Kai Havertz’s first-half strike sealed a 1-0 victory over a lacklustre Manchester City in Porto.

Thomas Tuchel’s side, who lost Thiago Silva to injury in the 39th minute, were sent on their way just before half-time as Mason Mount’s superb pass picked out the run of Kai Havertz (42), who rounded Ederson and calmly finished into an empty net for his first Champions League goal.

Man City, who picked an extremely attacking line-up, were far from their fluent best and their task was made even more difficult when Kevin De Bruyne was forced off because of a head injury in the 60th minute.

How the teams lined up in Porto | Match stats
After substitute Christian Pulisic missed a guilt-edged chance to wrap up victory, City turned to Sergio Aguero for one final time, but an equaliser proved elusive as Chelsea, who defended heroically, held on to end their season on a high.

The victory banished memories of their FA Cup final disappointment earlier this month and seals their first piece of silverware under Tuchel, who replaced Frank Lampard back in January.

Meanwhile, Champions League success proved elusive once again for Man City and Pep Guardiola. Despite their Premier League and Carabao Cup successes, their wait to win Europe’s biggest club competition goes on.

The game caught fire early on and it was City who created the first opening, Ederson measuring a perfect long ball over the top for Sterling, but the England international’s first touch let him down, allowing Reece James to get back and get a foot to the ball. It forced Sterling wide and Edouard Mendy was out quickly to make a block from a tight angle.

Guardiola’s line-up was clearly designed with attack firmly in mind, but it did leave them exposed at times without the ball and Chelsea created two good early chances on the counter. Both fell to Timo Werner, but he was unable to convert either, first missing his kick in front of goal after being picked out by Havertz’s cut back before shitting a low strike straight at Ederson.

Team news
Raheem Sterling was handed his first Champions League start since February. The England forward, who was on the bench for City’s last five matches in the competition, replaced Fernandinho in the only change from the second leg of the semi-final against Paris St Germain. Ilkay Gundogan was fit to start despite an injury scare on the eve of the game but there was no obvious holding midfielder, with Fernandinho and Rodri both on the bench. Centre-forwards Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus were also among the substitutes as City once again played with a false nine system.
As expected, key midfielder N’Golo Kante and goalkeeper Edouard Mendy were passed fit for Chelsea after injury worries in the build-up to the game. Kai Havertz was also named in the side ahead of Christian Pulisic.
At the other end, City started to find some rhythm and De Bruyne looked to have laid the ball on a plate for Phil Foden, who was just about to get his shot away when Antonio Rudiger slid in with a goal-saving sliding tackle.

Chelsea then suffered a blow when Silva landed awkwardly and appeared to pick up a groin injury. He tried to continue but was eventually forced off in the 39th minute and replaced by Andreas Christensen.

However, Tuchel’s side brushed off the disappointment of losing the Brazilian to take the lead three minutes before the interval.

Mount’s brilliant pass carved opened up the City defence and released Havertz. Ederson rushed out to meet him at the edge of the area and got a touch but the German forward kept his composure to regain possession and roll the ball into the empty net.

After a brighter start to the second half, City’s hopes of getting back into the game were dealt a huge setback just before the hour when De Bruyne was forced from the field after taking a blow to the head following a collision with Rudiger.

The Belgian left the field in tears as Gabriel Jesus came on in his place and it almost got even worse for City when substitute Pulisic, who looked certain to double his side’s lead, chipped the ball over Ederson but wide of the far post after another swift Chelsea breakaway.

Chelsea’s summer transfer plans analysed
Man City turned to Sergio Aguero for one final time with 15 minutes remaining and they were inches away in the dying stages of seven minutes of stoppage time when Riyad Mahrez’s strike left Mendy stranded, but the ball clipped the top of the crossbar.

There was to be no fairy-tale ending for Aguero, who is set to leave City this summer, as Chelsea held on to take Europe’s biggest prize back to west London.

Why I don’t support Yoruba presidency for 2023 – Seyi Makinde

The Executive Governor of Oyo state, Governor Seyi Makinde has disclosed his reason for objecting to a Yoruba presidency amidst the call for a southern president in 2023.
It’s no more news that the southern region is expected to produce the next president after the the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari for fairness to reign in the political environment.

He said restructuring of the country is more paramount than zoning the presidential position.

Speaking on BCOS TV, the governor made the statement while giving account of his one year stewardship as the governor of Oyo state.

“What we are fighting for is central to the development of this country. States should be able to enforce the laws in their states. People ask me about Yoruba Presidency and I say what we need now is not that but restructuring. I am not saying it is a magic bullet.

“We will still need to work hard. We need the support of the people. It’s not about zoning for the presidency. We need a country where people can actualise their dreams. People have legitimate reasons to be apprehensive about state policing so we need to address their concerns.”
