Travellers Were Separated Based on their religious faith Before Being Killed – Sheu sani Reveals
Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has revealed how a group of assailants attacked travellers on Rukuba road, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State on Saturday 14th, August, 2021.
Society gazette earlier reported that 26 people were killed while 20 were injured by the hoodlums.
Sani, in a tweet on Sunday disclosed that the travellers were separated based on their religious faith before being killed. The deceased victims were majorly muslims.
He wrote: “The Plateau massacre of Muslim faithfuls; They stopped a Bus on Transit, they selected the passengers based on their religious beliefs, they hacked them to death, they desecrated the corpses of their victims;An unspeakable, condemnable and atrocious infamy.”
However, the IG of police, Usman Baba Alkali has since deployed a crack team to the area to assess and bring to book the perpetrators. 20 arrests have been made so far.
