Chelsea Came from 2 Goals Down to Win at Tottenham

Chelsea fought back from two goals down to win 4-3 at London rivals Tottenham to close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool to four points.

Spurs, who have blown a two-goal lead for the second time this season after losing 3-2 at Brighton, were 2-0 up after just 11 minutes through Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski as Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella was forced into a change of boots after slipping for both goals.

Jadon Sancho then got the visitors back into the game in the 17th minute as he produced a wonderful curling low finish off the post from outside the box.

Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo then won a second-half penalty as he drew a rash challenge from Yves Bissouma that allowed Palmer to equalise from the spot in the 61st minute.

Chelsea always looked likeliest to win the game and Enzo Fernandez completed the turnaround in the 73rd minute with a powerful near-post volley.

Spurs’ defensive frailties were on display again as Sarr gave away another poor penalty that allowed Palmer to produce a cool Panenka in the 84th minute to extend their lead.

Heung-Min Son pulled a stoppage-time goal back but it was too little too late as Chelsea held on for a fourth straight league win to move second behind Liverpool, who have a game in hand after the Reds’ match against Everton was postponed on Saturday.

Spurs, meanwhile, are heading in the opposite direction with back-to-back league defeats leaving them 11th, seven points off the top four and boss Ange Postecoglou under even more pressure.

Liverpool Owner Allegedly Vow to Report Chelsea to Premier League for Over-Spending

Liverpool Owner Allegedly Vow to Report Chelsea to Premier League for Over-Spending

John Henry and other members of FSG were in attendance as Liverpool drew 1-1 against Chelsea on Sunday.

Tribuna’s Felix Johnston reports that the Americans didn’t just fly in to watch the game as they are also set to report some crucial information to the Premier League about Chelsea and their extravagant spending since Todd Boehly’s takeover.

“Liverpool‘s Owners flew in for talks with the Premier League, for clarification Chelsea are being closely looked at with their spending,” reported Johnston.

“Liverpool do not believe Chelsea’s ~£800m spend over the last 3 windows can comply with PL rules.

“Liverpool have prepared information to officially report Chelsea to the Premier League if they get confidence from talks.”

Sneak Picture of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s new £430million Solaris yacht

Chelsea owner ROMAN Abramovich’s new £430million superyacht is pictured in all its glory for the first time.

The 460ft Solaris, which will have eight decks including a helicopter pad, is nearing completion.

No expense has been spared and its two advanced electric engines will make it the most powerful yacht in the world.

Solaris is almost ready for sea trials and should be handed to the Chelsea owner, 54, by the summer.

A source said: “This will be the yacht of the year when she is launched later this year.”

The yacht is being built at the Lloyd Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany.

The shed it is being constructed in is larger than Buckingham Palace.

Solaris will have 48 cabins, accommodating up to 36 passengers, and a crew of 60.

But Abramovich, who already has £475million superyacht Eclipse, will not be setting sail for Britain often as he has visa issues over his Russia links.

The source added: “Details are being kept top secret but she will be a magnificent addition for the owner.

‘To give you an idea of the size of Solaris the yacht shed she is being built in is bigger and taller than Buckingham Palace so you have some idea of the dimensions.”

Breaking! Chelsea Sacks Coach Lampard to announce Tuchel later

Thomas Tuchel will replace Frank Lampard, whose sacking at Chelsea will be confirmed later on Monday.

The Daily Telegraph broke the Lampard news on Monday morning, with several other outlets following suit.

Lampard had managed to guide Chelsea back to winning ways on Sunday in the cup against Luton. But it has been their league form which has concerned Roman Abramovich and Marina Granovskaia at Stamford Bridge.

TEAMtalk understands the decision was made after Leicester game. The former Derby boss was given a chance after 3-1 defeat to Man City, but defeat to Leicester was the final straw. Lampard’s axing will become official later on Monday.

Granovskaia has been working on his replacement since then and we understand the same agents who brokered deals for Timo Werner and Kai Havertz have done a deal for Tuchel.

Avram Grant, Former Chelsea manager considered by Abramovich to Help Lampard

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is considering a move to bring former manager Avram Grant back to Stamford Bridge to work with current Blues boss Frank Lampard.

The Russian billionaire believes Grant’s experience could provide invaluable support to manager Lampard and his staff.

Chelsea have won only one of their last six Premier League matches and have dropped to ninth in the table.

Grant believes his strengths lie as a team manager rather than behind the scenes, so potentially the 65-year-old’s return to Stamford Bridge could be on a short-term basis.

Recently on social media, Grant backed Lampard, and urged Abramovich to give him time to prove his doubters wrong.

“But in the situation like this when things aren’t going well you need to be strong, look for solutions and show a lot about your character

“What I can say to Frank and the others at the club is be patient, and more than this do whatever is necessary to do, that’s for sure. Two things: never lose it even when things are going well, don’t lose your fighting spirit at the highest level.

“And second, don’t lose what you have here [points at head] – you need to think right and look for solutions. If you do that, then everything will be OK because the quality is there and there is a potential like there was [at Chelsea] in my time.”

In 2018, the former Portsmouth and West Ham boss had a spell as manager of Indian Super League team NorthEast United.

Prior to that, Grant managed Ghana, leading them to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015, losing to Ivory Coast on penalties.

Grant guided Chelsea to the Champions League final in 2008 and Lampard scored 20 goals during 40 appearances in all competitions for the Blues during that season.

Frank Lampard says the arrival of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in 2003 made his career as a player but does not think his personal relationship with the club should influence the Russian’s decisions.

Former midfielder Lampard enjoyed a trophy-laden career at Stamford Bridge during the first decade of Abramovich’s reign before he returned to the club as head coach in 2019.

“I have to sit here and say that when the owner came to Chelsea all those years ago, it made my career,” Lampard said.

“Maybe I would have gone elsewhere or whatever might have happened in my personal career, but fortunately I was at a club that had an owner who was brought in and absolutely changed the face of it and changed my life.
