Sacked Winners Pastor Gets Compensated, Receives Better Salary

Peter Godwin, a former pastor of the Living Faith Church International, popularly known as Winners Chapel, who was sacked for failing to make enough money has been compensated by a South African-based pastor, Isaiah Okechukwu.

The founder of Abba Father Ministries, a South African-based church made this known via his Facebook where he revealed that he’d be placing Godwin on a 100, 000 salary for the next 5 years pending when he finds his feet.

He also compared Oyedepo’s action to that of Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana, whilst sharing a screenshot of his first payment of N100, 000 to Godwin.

He wrote;“This reason why some people are not condemning Bishop David Oyedepo is because he is the Godfather to their spiritual fathers and for that they have become imbeciles who cannot speak up and talk.

“The same godfatherism in politicians lives is the same game that is being played in the church of God.

“Indeed Oyedepo and some of our fathers have a lot to learn from Obi Cubana,”

Naija News recalls that Peter Godwin, who claimed to be a former pastor of the Living Faith Church International, popularly known as Winners Chapel, has alleged that he was sacked for failing to make enough money.

Hoodlums Attack, Beat ARISE TV Crew At Sunday Igboho’s Trial, Steals Camera

Hoodlums suspected to be supporters of arrested Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho, have attacked ARISE Television crew in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

It was gathered that the television crew was beaten by the hoodlums who also made away with their camera on Monday.

According to reports, the staff were able to escape alongside their driver and are said to be doing fine.

“We don’t want to see you recording anything here, we will tell you what to record,” the thugs were reported to have said.

This news reports that the Court D’Appal of Cotonou had rejected the extradition to Nigeria of Sunday Igboho.

The court ruled that the agitator be kept in prison custody pending further investigation.

The Court D’Appal, which was expected to start hearing the case at 10:00 am barred reporters and supporters of Igboho who besieged the premises. The hearing commenced at about 5:00 pm.

Supporters of Igboho were dispersed from the premises of the court later in the evening, prompting fears that he might be deported to Nigeria but they later reconverged few blocks away from the court.

The government of Nigeria had accused Sunday Igboho of trafficking in arms, inciting violence to disrupt public peace, and agitating for secession. It also sought his extradition to Nigeria.

Igboho and his wife, Ropo, were arrested at the Cardinal Bernardin International Airport, Cotonou, last Monday while trying to catch a flight to Germany.

However, Ropo, who is a German citizen was set free by the court on Thursday while the self-styled agitator was remanded in the custody of Brigade Criminelle in Cotonou.

Produce Our Leader, Relatives Must See Him Dead Or Alive – IPOB To DSS

The Indigenous People of Biafra has called on the Department of State Services, to allow its leader, Nnamdi Kanu access to his lawyers and family.
The spokesman of the group, Emma Powerful, stated this while condemning the secret police over its inability to produce Kanu in court.

In a statement, Powerful said: “We the global family of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, condemn the seek and hide attitude of the Department of State Services, DSS, and its systematic delay and failure to produce our leader Mazi Nnamdi in court today in Abuja.

“This was a deliberate and wicked plot to inflict further torture on our leader who they have kept incommunicado for some days now. In the past seven days, DSS has refused our lawyers and our leader’s family members access to him. This is wickedness!

“We are no longer comfortable with this development. We have enough grounds to suspect foul play. With the failure of DSS to produce our leader in court today without any cogent reason and coupled with the torture meted out to him since his abduction in Kenya, we are worried about the safety of our Leader.

“The failure of DSS to produce our leader in court today is confirming our fear over the uncertainty concerning his health. Considering his deteriorating health condition since he was kidnapped and the refusal of DSS to grant him access to his physicians, it is possible that our Leader may have been killed.

“DSS should prove us wrong by producing our leader in court or granting his lawyers and family members access to him. We are running out of patience. Nigeria should not take IPOB for granted. Our leader must not die in detention.”

The group also commended all those who stood in solidarity with Kanu across the world.

“We also wish to heartily commend all markets, banks and government agencies, motor parks, transport companies, etc, who showed solidarity to our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu without formal announcements from IPOB leadership. We thank all Biafrans and friends of Biafran who in one way or the other solidarity with our leader today,” Powerful said.
