October 31: Philanthropist, Funmi Ayinke Resigns After Twenty Years Of Active Service To Humanity (VIDEO)

Popular Nigerian inspirational musician and philanthropist, Funmi Ayinke has resigned from all forms of service to humanity after twenty years of active service today Monday, 31st of October, 2022. This is coming after she made a revelation last week that there will be a huge announcement today.

In a 22-minute video posted on her YouTube page few hours ago, Funmi Ayinke made it known that started humanitarian services twenty years ago due to the covenant she made with God while she was seeking admission into the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University Of Technology (LAUTECH) in 2001.

She narrated that all her efforts to gain admission proved abortive till she pleaded with God on October 31, 2001 to see her through with a condition that she will serve humanity for twenty years if God is able to help her with admission, secure a good job for her and provide a good family.

According to her, God granted her requests and she started engaging in serious humanitarian activities in a way to fulfil her vows to God.

‘’I want to thank God for this day, October 31st 2022 which is a unique and special day of my life. I recall vividly how the journey started on October 31, 2001t. I told God when I was on LAUTECH campus seeking admission for pre-degree. I tried in 2000 but didn’t get it but in 2001, I was privileged to meet one or two people that God used for me to give me the admission.’’

‘’I remember this day October 31, I went to that campus sad because I was denied admission again, I slept overnight in the school bus, I refused to go home because I wanted to return to tell my mum that I had gotten admission but I didn’t get it. I remember that night around 12:30am in the bus, I woke up and asked God to help me because I planned to approach the pre-degree school again even though I knew nobody. I told God that if he can send someone to help me when I approach the school, I will use twenty years of my life to serve humanity. When I made that appeal, I felt a kind of movement in the bus, I told God again that if he will help me to graduate and give me a job without stress, I will use my life to serve humanity. For the second time again, I felt this kind of breeze into the bus, it was so much but the atmosphere was so cool to stay, it felt like I had company in the bus.’’

‘’On the 1st of November which was the next day, I went to the school as I told God and I met this amazing mummy of mine, she inquired of what I was looking for and I told her that I came to get my admission letter, she asked if I had been given admission yet and I said ‘Not yet, but you are about to give me’. She looked at me and asked that I followed her and within three hours, I got my admission letter and returned home to my mother with the good news.’’

‘’I started the journey, it became as if God wasn’t there, I started and couldn’t continue medical school, I went to engineering and told God again when I was to cross that if he can see me through, I will definitely not forget my vows. I told Him that I want to go to engineering and graduate with 2:1, get a good job, be an employer of labour, have money, have a husband, have my kids and that if he can help me, I will use twenty years of my life to do humanitarian services. The only thing I heard in my heart that day was ‘You have it already, just keep fulfilling your own part of the journey’.’’

‘’From 2001-2008 on that LAUTECH campus, I didn’t live like a student, I lived for humanity, everyone in my street then cried when I was leaving for NYSC because I became mother to the motherless, as a student I gave all, the little I had on me I gave all because I was conscious of my vows to God. During my NYSC, I became a mother to the corps members. I didn’t sell myself out to humanity because of fame or so people can love me, I don’t even happen to love anyone because I grew up independently but because I love God passionately and because of my vow to God on that fateful night.’’

While narrating her experience over the years, Funmi Ayinke noted that she was exposed to the bullying of ingrates that don’t understand her journey, she recalled how people called her bad names because they never understood that all she was doing was fulfilling the vows she made with God.

‘’In the course of fulfilling my part of the vow to God, I exposed myself to the bully of ingrates that don’t understand the journey, they said I was using their glory, they said I am a bad woman, some came with the mind to quickly grab and go, some came with sense of entitlement. No Nigerian has the right to have anything on my table, it’s a privilege because of the covenant I have with God. Some listening to me have been beneficiaries of my vows to God, I told God I will be doing a humanitarian program for widows because they reminded me of my mother, they took the test of time and decided not to remarry, I told God some youths that remind me of me will have blessings on my table. Today, across the globe, nations, Africa, I have done everything possible with my hard earned money, I gave it all. ‘’

‘’I told God I will start saving money after twenty years of my covenant with him, I told him I will make the sacrifice and I did. Sometimes when I engage in my humanitarian activities, I get tempted not to do it because of ingrates but I remember that night in the bus and come back to do it massively, just to tell God that I am grateful for all he did for me and today, I am celebrating the grace to fulfil God’s purpose, the covenant, the grace to forge ahead and I am saying officially today that my twenty years of covenant is today, I am officially resigning. ‘’

‘’God has been good, his faithfulness endures forever, he didn’t give me any regret even if Nigerians give me 1 million regrets, I stayed focus on the covenant when I had reasons to leave, some that are grateful owe me nothing, the only thing I will never do is keep bad people around me.’’

‘’Officially, Funmi Ayinke nigeria limited is free officially from humanitarian activities, sacrifices, giving the resources I am meant to use for myself, my kids are free from seeing their mother being bullied, being molested by ungrateful Nigerians, my life is free from those that feel they must kill me if I don’t give them jobs government can’t offer them, if I sack them, they will deal with me, I am free from all forms of malicious activities.’’

‘’God has also blessed me with testimonies that will take me forty years to achieve because I served him for twenty years, it’s good to do business with God. Today, my announcement to the world is that I am resigning from any form of humanitarian activities, it was not easy fulfilling this promise because of bad people. Humanitarian services attracted me to bad ones that have no value for life. I have been able to take away the bad ones and today, no matter what they do, the defamation, bullies, God told me that they will suffer until they repent, it’s not a curse because I told God to have mercy but He said all my enemies will bow at my feet.’’

Over the years, Funmi Ayinke has spent millions of naira giving to the needy and less privileged in the society. She has operated an open policy that gave several people access to her, many youths have been employed through this covenant she has with God.

Joshua Iginla Condoles with Slain families, condemns the Vicious Attack on Apostle Suleman

– Pleads with Nigerians To Stop Attacking Religious Leaders

Internationally acclaimed Prophet and shepherd in charge of Champions Royal Assembly, Joshua Iginla has condoled with families of the slain victims during the vicious attack against Apostle Johnson Suleman.

Iginla in an emotional laden voice during the sunday service today raised a prayer for the family of the seven slain victims. He also condemend the vicious attack against Apostle Suleman labelling it as barbaric and satanic. He also enjoined the security to rise to the occassion by arresting, prosecuting the culprits and their sponsors.

Furthermore, he challenged christian leaders to embrace the love of God and be united against. He reiterated the fact that true revival cannot occur until they relate as one body. Iginla also appealed to Nigerians to forgive the fathers of faith and stop attacking them. Accprding to hi,, they are not responsib, for the current state of the country:

“Last week an unfortunate incident occurred to one of our brothers in Christ and ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries. It was a sad event. I gave him a call on Friday and he narrated the unfortunate incident to me.

I want to first say that our heart goes to the family of the policemen and ministry members who lost their lives In the sad event. There was an attempt on the life of the man of God and it was a narrow escape through the help of God.

I know people will say whatever they like. If you sat bulletproof or car proof but I want you to know there were people who ride in bulletproof cars, yet were accosted and killed. There were presidents who were heavily guarded yet assassinated.

In things like this we are not here to argue with men but say the act of trying to take somebody’s life no matter the reason is barbaric, satanic, and devilish not to talk about it being against a man of God. We have come to a point in our time where hatred had filled our lives. We no longer understand what it means to have the fear of God.

I just want to register my voice by condemning this act. It is satanic and barbaric. I have confidence in the Nigerian Police. When they want to do their job, they will do it thoroughly. I have seen them moving swiftly on many occasions to incidents like this and bring out the truth. We hope the Nigerian police will not fold their hands and that the culprits and their sponsors will be arrested, prosecuted, and dealt with lawfully”

To the church and the body of Christ, we no longer know who is our enemy or friends. One of the scary set of people to deal with are pastors. Until we come to the point where we are united, we are just deceiving ourselves for the prayer of revival. Do you know the reason we don’t have revival in the land? Do you think you can cause revival alone? No! You need me and I need you. We need one another. Also if we have offended you forgive us.

The attack on the Men of God is too much. If you don’t talk about Papa Adeboye, you talk about Bishop Oyedepo. To you, everyone of us is not good. Forgive us. We are men before we became men of God. We are not the government of Nigeria, we are not the ones handling the political positions in Nigeria. The present predicament of Nigeria is not caused by us. Kindly vent your anger in the right direction and choose a new leader that can lead Nigeria right. We will never be politicians.

We are men of God. Also, men of God once they criticized you, consider the constructive criticism they appoint to you and turn a new leaf. The voice of the people sometimes can be the voice of God. But taking somebody’s life is so dangerous. Watch my track record, even if I don’t know you once you received a bullet as clergy I will come out to defend you. When senior prophet TB Joshua was alive I did the same thing in his lifetime and after his lifetime. If not for timely intervention… how much did they give you to take somebody’s life? What a wicked world we live in..

Nigerian Army And Media Relationship: Call For Collective Efforts Towards A Safer Nigeria—General Yahaya

Nigerian Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya has described the Nigerian Army and media relationship as a call for collective efforts to enthrone a safer Nigeria for citizens and investors.
The Army boss made this remarks on Monday at the 3rd Quarter Comic Media Chat 2022 organized by Army Headquarters Department of Civil-Military Affairs at the 81 Division Officers’ Mess, Lagos.

Themed “Media as a Critical Tool in Addressing Insecurity in Nigeria,” General Yahaya who was represented by the General Officer Commanding, 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Obinna Ajuwa, emphasized that the media must endeavour to eliminate rumour from its duties of reportage to avoid distortion of facts that could derail the progress that has been made in securing Nigeria.

The Army Chief stressed the importance of the media chat which becomes necessary in view of heightened end of year activities as well as the 2023 general elections.

He explained that unverified reportage has the potency to disrupt the success of both Army kinetic and non kinetic operations.
Yahaya noted that the Army he leads would continue to be professional and apolitical during and after the 2023 general elections in line with global best practices.

“The media should always reflect and cross check what they report in order not to make enemies of state and other forms of insurgency feel happy for creating distortions in the system,” he advised.
While thanking President Muhammadu Buhari, Minister of Defence, Major General Salihi Magashi and Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor for their inspiring leadership and supports to the Nigerian Army, Yayaha called for a renewed relationship between the Army and media adding that he would continue to engage citizens through the Department of Civil-Military Affairs for a better understanding of expected roles and duties to minimize conflict of interest.

Kogi State Government Accuses Dangote Of Planning To Cause Chaos (Details)

The Kogi state government has accused Dangote group of companies of planning to cause chaos in the state.

The commissioner for information and communications in a statement released noted that the company held a meeting yesterday to perfect plans to cause chaos in the state.

This is coming after the state government sealed Obajana Cement Company which according to the government was illegally obtained by Dangote group of companies.

Read full Statement below

KOGI STATE GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA

PRESS STATEMENT

PLOT BY DANGOTE TO CAUSE CHAOS IN KOGI UNCOVERED

1. We have uncovered certain plans by the Dangote Group at a meeting held last night to cause chaos across the state as a fight back strategy against the State Government’s decision to get its own legally supported equity from the Obajana Cement Company. The latest strategy stems from frustrations occasioned by the failure of the Dangote Group to misinform the general public and its shareholders as the State Government has consistently and continuously present the facts of the matter to the general public.

2. A top Management Staff of Dangote Group erroneously called a top Government official as the meeting was going on to hatch their satanic plans against the Government and people of Kogi State. The call which came in at 10.06pm went on for 28 minutes, 12 seconds, detailing how they intend to doctor documents to prove they own the cement company 100 percent; how they intend to use the DSS and other security agencies to arrest top Government Officials on frivolous charges; how they intend to use the EFCC to arrest some Government officials in order to cow them down; how they also intend to use the media to promote falsehood against the Government and people of Kogi State and sundry other satanic plans against the people and Government of our dear state.

Below are the resolutions at their meeting:

* Obliteration of the Agreement between the Kogi State Government and the Dangote Group.

* A plan to use the press to attack the Governor and the Government of Kogi State. They planned to deploy people to the major TV Stations in the country to attack the Governor and the Government of Kogi State.

*They planned to call the EFCC and DSS today to claim those who sealed the company on the orders of the House of Assembly stole the sum of N207m and that those agencies should arrest them.

*They also resolved to initiate both civil and criminal proceedings against certain Government officials.

*Lastly, they resolved to block all the major highways across the state with their trucks to make it impossible for the Governor to move out of the state capital. In their words, they said “we will prove to him that his madness cannot match our own”. They said at the meeting that Dangote owns Nigeria and that there is nothing anyone can do to stop him.

3. The over 28 minutes recorded meeting typifies the mindset of economic oppressor who thinks he could use every apparatus of the Federal Government to fight our dear state into submission. Nigeria is what it is today because certain individuals think they own the country and can get away with any attrocity they commit.

4. We make bold to say that if the Dangote Group attempts to carry out any of his threats or deny our claims above which are supported by facts, we will release visuals and audio of the said meeting and the whole world will see the mindset and modus operandi of Alh. Aliko Dangote and his conglomerate. We are a people that cannot be destroyed by the whim and caprices of the capitalist dominance that the Dangote Group stands for.

5. One of the plans hatched at the meeting was to use Dangote trucks to block all major highways in Kogi State from today to make life unbearable for the people of the state and also launch attacks on commuters across the state in order to cow the State Government into submission in the ongoing ownership determination battle for the Obajana Cement Company.

6. We wish to inform the people of Kogi State that the State Government will stop at nothing legal to defend their rights to movement and safety. We will take steps that are legal to resist the act of cowardice of the Dangote Group to harass, intimidate or harm the people of Kogi State for demanding their rights.

7. Let it be clear to all that the Government and people of Kogi State are united against economic oppression under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello. Our resolve to right the wrongs of the past is bigger than those who think they own Nigeria and can get away with anything they do.

8. We call on security agencies to be on red alert to forestall any breakdown of law and order. It is our wish to ensure the agitation to reclaim our equity at Obajana is non-violent as we have all that is required to win the battle. Security agencies should resist the temptation of being used by the Dangote Group to be used to harass officials of Government and our people as hatched at the I’ll fated meeting.

9. We also want to sound a note of warning to the Dangote Group that Kogi State will not condone any act of lawlessness and that perpetrators will be made to face the full wrath of the law, no matter how highly placed.

9. Let it be clear to all that the present administration has overseen the heaviest influx of investments into the state as a result of the enabling environment created. But in as much as we crave investments and economic expansion in our dear state, it is our responsibility to protect the interest of the people in those investments.

10. Our stand is just and fair. Our decision is to give what belongs to the people to the people and not seek pecuniary interest. That is why Dangote Group is being repeatedly exposed. The Group should do what is right and just to stop further drowning in the murky waters of ignominy.

11. We urge the people of Kogi State to remain calm as the Government they elected is capable, ready and equipped to fight this economic battle successfully.

She was said to have instructed her maids to manhandle the orderly over her refusal to execute domestic duties.

The Command disclosed that the case was adjourned to October 5 for the next hearing.

Naira Will Suffer More Depreciation When Political Campaigns Begin Next Week–Experts

Some finance and economic experts are projecting further naira devaluation as election campaigns kick-off in less than a week.

They also revealed that politicians have already begun buying dollars in bulk to fund campaigns.

The Central Bank of Nigeria sells dollars at N436 at the Investor and Importers Window for Foreign Exchange, while the Bureau De Change operators sell for N712 per dollar.

At the peer-to- peer (P2P), which provides an online platform where people can exchange currencies with one another, the currency trades at N720 per USD.

Nigeria is battling its worst dollar crunch driven by drop in oil revenues, while inflation and insecurity are scaring investors that would have injected the needed forex to turn around the economy.

Currently, Nigeria’s apex bank is pursuing $200bn non-oil remittance in the next five years through the RT200 Forex programme and has only raised $1.65bn since its launch in February.

“We are aggressively looking at non-oil exports and it is paying good dividend. Nigeria remains an investment haven based on the size and the economy in Africa and also because of the market in Nigeria,” CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele said during an investor call in New York.

But more pressing for the apex bank is the pressure that the political campaign ahead of the 2023 general elections will exert on the naira.

Campaigns will officially kick-off on September 28, 2022, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission and historical trends have shown how politicians funded campaigns with the dollar.

Alh. Shehu Jega, a forex expert and a dealer at Bani Mbaka Bureau De Change in Zone 4, Abuja told THE WHISTLER that the worst is yet to come, particularly as politicians will exchange huge amount to dollars for campaign purposes.

Jega said, “The campaign is going to influence the exchange rate because the dollar is more portable than the naira and the politicians can carry any amount without it showing.

“If you want to campaign with the naira and you know campaign in Nigeria without other currencies is impossible. So, the politicians will resort to bulk buying and hoarding of dollars so that they can fund their campaign.

“It is a usual thing. So, in whatever way, the campaign is going to influence the price of the currency more.”

He said there has been no reasonable attempt to save the naira, hence the currency will likely depreciate adding “the naira is left on its own.”

According to him, Nigeria being an import economy has seen dollar supply fall to the minimum.

Jega said, “There is bourgeois attempt to hoard the dollar. So, visually, nobody can predict the naira will rise in value.

“The trends going on now is unpredictable by anybody. You can’t exactly say this is why the naira is going down and the dollar is taking advantage. But the most important factor is that the demand is going down.”

He hinted that panic buying is also a major concern which must be addressed to save the naira.

He added, “There is a lot of panicking in the market, people are trying to maintain their economic value and as a result of that, they are resorting to buying dollars to hoard. But I don’t think there is any real attempt to devalue the naira.

“But it is devaluing and the market causing that. The price is going the way it is. Ever blessed day, the demand is going higher and it is a common knowledge that once the demand overwhelms the supply, automatically it will fall.

“People who hold dollar now are hoarding it because they are sure of their value. Those who do not have will love to have it to secure their value.”

For Kalu Aja, the large spread between CBN and BDC “Street rates indicate low volumes.”

“Keep whatever dollars you have close to you. Difficult days ahead. Nigeria needs dollars. It can’t earn enough, because she can’t protect her pipelines. It can’t borrow, because its current revenues can’t service existing debt. We need non-oil exports and remittances plus a devaluation,” he added.

How Ayu Collected One Billion From Presidential Aspirant In Lagos – WikeRivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has alleged that the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu took money from a presidential candidate in Lagos State.
The PDP chieftain who spoke on Friday challenged Ayu to deny the claims, noting that he has evidence. Wike, however, refused to mention the individual who Ayu collected the money from.

Wike who said he was hugely pained that he was unable to win the PDP’s presidential primary and go on to battle the All Progressives Congress, APC, said the money Ayu collected did not enter PDP‘s account.

He said: “Will he deny the fact that he did not collect one billion naira from Lagos? Yes, let him deny it, I will tell him who gave him the money.

“Not Lagos state government, but someone in Lagos. The money was given to him in Lagos. He met one of the presidential aspirants and told him he was not sure state governors would want to sponsor the party.

“Let Ayu say no, I will even call some of the businessmen and how the money was arranged in Lagos. That money did not enter the account of PDP. But we are not attacking Ayu on that basis,” Wike said during an interview on Channels on Friday, Naija News reports.

Wike stressed that he has a good relationship with the party and that is why he is making sure candidates that emerge in my state win in the 2023 general elections.

Returning to the call for Ayu’s resignation, Wike said the issue as it is today is that as it is provided in the constitution of the party that there shall be zoning of party offices and elective offices.

“It is made clear and what should be and what should be done. People in the system now manipulate things and would not let the public know the truth.”
