President Muhammadu Buhari Doesn’t Bear His Father’s Real Name — US Professor Makes Shocking Revelation

President Muhammadu Buhari Doesn’t Bear His Father’s Real Name — US Professor Makes Shocking Revelation

An associate professor in the United States, Farooq Kperogi, has claimed that the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, does not bear the real names of his father.
The social critics noted that President Buhari’s surname is not his father’s real name but a name derived from a particular town.

Kperogi added that Muhammadu Buhari’s father is called Adamu Bafallaje (or Bafalle in Hausa).

He wrote, “Muhammadu Buhari’s very name is wrapped in a curious omission. In most parts of the world, people’s last names are usually either their family name or their father’s first name. Not for Buhari.”

”Muhammadu (which his teachers spelled as “Mohamed” when he was in secondary school) is his first given name and Buhari is his middle name, not his surname. He was named after a prolific ninth-century Persian Hadith compiler by the name of Muhammad al-Bukhari who was born in a city called Bukhara in what is now Uzbekistan.”

“Bukhari isn’t a personal given name; it’s a demonym, that is, a name given to people who come from a particular place, such as Nigerian, Briton, American, Lagosian, New Yorker, etc. Bukhari simply means a native of the city of Bukhara in Uzbekistan, a West Asian nation that used to be a part of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).”

“In Muslim and Middle Eastern linguistic traditions, the letter “i” is usually added to the end of the names of villages, towns, cities, and countries to form demonyms. That’s why someone from Pakistan is called a Pakistani, someone from Israel is called an Israeli, someone from the UAE is called an Emirati, and so on. If the demonym of Bukhara were to be given in Hausa, it would be Danbuhara. In Yoruba, it would be Omobuhara. In my native Baatonu, it would be Buharagi. (My last name, Kperogi, is a demonym, and it means someone from Kperu, the short form of my hometown’s name, Senru Kperu, but which Yoruba people call Okuta).”

“So how did Muhammadu Buhari come to be known by his names? Because of the immense reverence that Muhammad al-Bukhari enjoys among Sunni Muslims, Muslims have historically honoured him by naming their children after him, so instead of just calling them Bukhari (which they may not be since they may not be natives of Bukhara in Uzbekistan), they typically combine the man’s first and last names: Muhammad Bukhari.

”Most Nigerian languages, including Hausa, don’t have the phoneme “a,” which sounds almost exactly like the sound you produce when you are discharging mucus from your throat. The closest phonemic approximation of that sound is “h,” which explains why “Bukhari” is rendered as “Buhari” in many African languages”

“Our Muhammadu Buhari doesn’t bear his father’s name even though he is so proud of his paternal ancestry that he gratuitously flaunts it. For instance, in his October 18, 1961 “Application to sit for RNA Qualifying Examination,” he called attention to his ethnic identity even when it wasn’t warranted. “I have the honour to apply for regular service in the Royal Nigeria Army. My name is Muhammadu Buhari and I am a Fulani. I am eighteen years old and I am in Form Six at the Provincial Secondary School Katsina,” he wrote.

“Buhari’s father who gave him the Fulani bloodline he brandishes (his mother is Kanuri) was called Adamu Bafallaje (or Bafalle in Hausa). Buhari’s older brother who died in a car crash in the late 1980s and whose Buhari-lookalike son, Fatuhu Muhammad, represents the Daura/Sandamu/MaiAdua federal constituency in the House of Representative was called Mamman Danbafalle. (Danbafalle means son of Bafalle in Hausa, and Mamman is the Hausa domestication of Muhammad. It’s common in Muslim families to have many siblings named Muhammad, but they’re often differentiated with their middle names).”

Just In: FG Rejects Governors ₦162 To ₦380/Litre Fuel Price Proposal

The Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government has again rejected the proposal of State Governors for the total removal of fuel subsidy.
Recall that the Federal Government had first, on May 21, rejected the governors’ recommendation of shooting petrol price up to between ₦380 and ₦ 408.5 per litre and removing fuel subsidy.

The governors’ advice was based on the report of its committee chaired by the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, seeking the full deregulation of the oil sector.

Reacting, the Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva, had in a statement, said the current petrol price of between ₦162 and ₦165 per litre would stay.

Sylva said the current price would be retained until the ongoing negotiations with the organised labour were concluded.

“The current price of petrol will be retained in the month of June until the ongoing engagement with organised labour is concluded.

“This clarification becomes necessary in the light of recent reports regarding the resolution of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum to increase the pump price of petrol,” he had said.

But oil marketers under the aegis of Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria, on Friday, asked the federal government to end fuel subsidy in line with the state governors’ recommendation.

The President of PETROAN, Dr Billy Gillis-Harry, said: “When it (fuel subsidy) is stopped, the prices of petroleum products will be determined by market forces and this will create competition and lead to an increase in product availability.”

However, the Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Garba-Deen Muhammad insisted that no decision on the adjustment of petrol price would be reached until the ongoing negotiations with the organised labour were concluded.

He told PUNCH that, “The truth is that the key component for us to make the decision is basically for us to have a consensus with labour. So regardless of what the governors or anybody else is saying, labour is the key partner in this project.

“The negotiations with labour officials are ongoing. A decision will not be reached until the negotiations are over. So anybody can say what they want.”

He added, “The fact is that the labour represents the Nigerian people and the government is working with the Nigerian people. So it is a cardinal objective that the labour is carried along.”

Asked when the negotiations would be concluded, Muhammad said that those not depend solely on the federal government.

“People can make their analyses and arrive at whatever proposals, but at the end of the day, a consensus has to be reached and in that consensus, the labour is a major voice and key partner,” he said

Finally, 12 Igboho’s Aides Set To Be Released From DSS Custody

Pelumi Olajenbesi, the lawyer to the 12 detained aides of Sunday Igboho, has said his clients will soon be released from the Department of Service (DSS) custody.
Recall that the 12 aides have been in DSS custody for about 50 days for failing to perfect their bail and regain freedom.

One of the conditions for their bail was that the 12 aides should have 24 sureties after they were earlier asked to produce four sureties.

Speaking with the PUNCH on Friday, Olajengbesi said the requirement for 24 sureties had been met as required by the court.

He disclosed that the bail office of the Federal High Court in Abuja said it needed to write letters to the offices of the 24 sureties to get more confirmation.

He, however, appealed to the court to quickly confirm the authenticity of the sureties so the detained persons could regain freedom.

“We have the 24 sureties already as required by the court, but the challenge is the bail office insisted that it needs to write letters to all the offices of the sureties to confirm the sureties,” he said.

It would be recalled that the 12 aides were arrested by DSS operatives during a raid on Igboho’s Ibadan residence on July 1, 2021, and subsequently brought to Abuja.

The aides had approached the court through their lawyer to seek their release in line with their fundamental human rights.

The presiding judge, Justice Obiora Egwuatu, had on August 4, 2021, admitted the 12 applicants to bail.

However, their bail perfection suffered a setback last week as the Federal High Court in Abuja demanded 24 sureties, a development that was in contrast to four sureties earlier demanded by the court.

Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy On Afghanistan Troubled Situation Fulfilled

Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy On Afghanistan Troubled Situation Fulfilled

Internationally recognized prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele is being celebrated again for the fulfillment of some of his prophecies which were noted in his annual book of prophecy titled Warnings To The Nation about the international communities.

Primate Ayodele, though a Nigerian based prophet is highly recognized for his prophetic declarations about nations around the world, sending warnings to world leaders as revealed by God. Recently, his prophecies on China, Germany, India, Mali, Peru came to pass as he put them in his book of prophecy ‘Warning To The Nations’.

At the moment, his prophecy on the nation of Afghanistan has just been fulfilled. The man of God in the 2021/2022 edition of ‘Warning To The Nations’ (pg 256-257) made some revelations about the president and the security situation of the country. In one part of the revelations, He made it known that he foresees a protest seeking for the removal of the President, Ashraf Ghani. In Afghanistan as we speak, an Islamic sect, Taliban has taken over most part of the country, causing violence, killings and trouble. The group has also made it known that they will not stop this war until the president is removed, fulfilling the first part of Primate Ayodele’s prophecy.

Another part of his prophecy on the country warned the citizens of the United States Of America against going into the country because he foresees trouble happening in the country and defending them will be difficult. Fulfilling this prophecy, the USA yesterday ordered all of her citizens to leave the country immediately due to the Taliban war that has led to a widespread violence across the country.

Apart from these, Primate Ayodele asked the country to pray against strange happenings that will trouble the country. He advised the government to be watchful of terrorist attacks and trouble situation in the country. Yesterday, news broke out that the largest city in Afghanistan has been taken over by the Taliban which is of course very strange as it never happened before. Since this development, the country has been troubled, several have died and citizens now run for their lives.

There are many other revelations the man of God made about Afghanistan, most of which talked about the future of the country.

Stanley Okoro Was Poisoned By Colleagues At Movie Location – Family Alleges

The family of Nollywood actor, Stanley Okoro, has alleged that the fast-rising actor was poisoned by colleagues.
It was earlier reported that Okoro died on Wednesday due to a suspected case of food poisoning.

The family of the actor claimed that he was poisoned after successfully completing a movie shoot in a hotel in the Maryland area of Enugu State.

It was disclosed that he moved to another movie shoot in Asaba in Delta State, but unlike him, no pictures were taken to know those he was on set with.

The family noted that they don’t know if he had problems with anybody that would want him dead.

The family further stated that Okoro’s only problem was his obsession with food.

A cousin of the actor, Okoro Nneka Loveth, who spoke to Daily Post on Thursday, said the late actor loved people and carried everyone along.

She said, “Stanley happens to be my Cousin. A very close Cousin. Stanley was poisoned. And the person that poisoned him was among the people on set with him as of last week.”
“Usually, whenever he came to Enugu, he’d either call me for food or call one of our Cousins to get him food. Stanley liked the food a lot. He ate a lot.”

“So whenever he asked me for food, (usually I’m very busy) I’d send a Keke (tricycle) driver to go and deliver it. I have one Hausa Keke driver that usually did that for me or I’d go myself or my other Cousin would go herself or send one of her girls.”

“But this last time, he came, we only talked on the phone. They were in Enugu for a movie shoot. Their location was in Maryland, Enugu. Thereafter, he left for Asaba for another one.”

“So after the movie shoot, he went back. He apologised that this time, he could not meet with us but that he’d be coming back the next week. Stanley left Enugu four days ago to Asaba and said he’d be coming back next week that they have another movie to shoot.”

“He lived in Owerri(Imo State) but this poisoning could have happened in Enugu or Asaba. Immediately he got back to Owerri, the thing started happening to him as if he had a stroke and he started vomiting. He was vomiting black liquid. A native doctor invited even disclosed he was poisoned. Stanley was walking to the toilet when he shouted for help over a burning chest and collapsed.”

“They rushed him to a hospital and on getting to the hospital Stanley gave up. So the person used a fast poison. Maybe as they rounded up shooting and decided to eat, the person just took advantage.”

“Throughout yesterday, we did not sleep. Stanley did not deserve to die. That guy was nice and carried everybody along. Everyone in my village is crying. He was so down to earth. The only problem he had was that he liked the food a lot. He ate too much.”

“He was not married but may have been in a serious relationship. He wasn’t even up to 30 years I can’t tell if he was having problems with anybody [that would want him dead]. He didn’t tell me of anyone.”

“Stanley lived his life like a Hausa man, he wouldn’t even take note when someone is angry with him.”

“Currently, Stanley is in the mortuary and for now we don’t know what to do. He was around 27 years of age.”

Loveth further stated that the family has started deliberating on his burial arrangement, adding that the actor would likely be buried on August 26.

Lagos Reopens Ladipo Market, Gives Serious Warning To Traders

The Lagos State Government has reopened the popular Ladipo auto spare parts market in the Mushin area of the state.
Society gazette reports that the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) had closed the market last month over improper waste disposal and several unhygienic practices.

But in a statement on Friday by its Head of Public Affairs, Hakeem Akinleye, LAWMA said it decided to reopen the market after substantial compliance with rules and regulations, to sustain a clean and hygienic environment in the market.

He quoted the Managing Director of LAWMA, Ibrahim Odumboni, as saying that the leadership of the market has signed an undertaken not to breach any environmental laws again.

Odumboni stated that the Authority would not condone any form of indiscriminate waste dumping and other environmental infractions, especially at market facilities across the state.

He said further that LAWMA would continue to monitor the situation at Ladipo market and other marketplaces, to ensure full compliance with the environmental laws of the state.

Odumboni warned that the Authority would not hesitate to shut errant shopping centers found to pose dangers to the environment.

The LAWMA boss, therefore, appealed to residents to imbibe the attitude of keeping the environment clean at all times, by bagging their wastes and patronising assigned PSP operators, adding that LAWMA was totally committed to making Lagos cleaner and livable for all.

“Is this what this agbaya should be doing? – Omokri Blasts Buhari For Visiting Tinubu In London

A former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari over his visit to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in London.

He described the visit as irresponsible, lamenting that Buhari is the only President he knows who will be paying social visits while his country is in trouble.

It could be recalled that Buhari who is currently in London, on Thursday, visited the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu who is also in London.

The visit however didn’t sit well with Omokri who took to his verified Facebook wall to lash out at the Nigerian leader.

He wrote: “Is this what this agbaya should be doing? Visiting Tinubu in London when hunger is visiting Nigerians.”

“When 250 children are still with bandits and kidnappers, including 89 Baptist Academy students? When resident doctored are on strike? When his party is in disarray over Buni?”

“Buhari is irresponsible! I know of no other President in the world who will be busy paying social visits when his country is experiencing social unrest.”

“What do we need this fellow for? Buhari is as useless to Nigeria as the p in psychology!”

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari will return to Nigeria from his London trip today, 13th August 2021, sources have disclosed.

Barring any last-minute change, Buhari is expected to land in Nigeria by 5pm on Friday.

It has now been gathered that Buhari is set to return to Nigeria today.
