DJ SOSO GOSPEL SHINES AT FEMI GEORGE’S BIRTHDAY BASH

Despite Packing 100 Outfits For BBNaija, Diana Evicted Alongside Deji, Giddyfia In 6th Week

Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemates Deji, Diana, and Giddyfia have been evicted from the reality TV show.

Diana and Giddyfia who spent 43 days in Big Brother Naija’s house were evicted after securing the lowest votes from viewers.

While Deji, one of the fake housemates, stayed only 36 days.

Their eviction came 6 days after one of the housemates, Amaka, was evicted.

The host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced their removal during the live eviction show on Sunday.

During the Eviction Diary Session, Diana told Big Brother that the session was mentally beneficial and prepares housemates for possible eviction.

“I packed 100 outfits for the Big Brother show. So, every time (weekly live evictions) I have many things to pack,” Diana complained, “but I prepare by packing, eating, and getting dressed up so I can look good for you, Ebuka and the viewers,” she said.

One of the evicted housemates, Giddyfia, 24, came into Biggie’s house and immediately became the funny guy.

Last week after Amaka was evicted from the show, Big Brother told the housemates that they were all up for possible eviction except for the Head of House, Dotun, and the riders Rachel and Chizzy.

Portable Throws Shade at Davido As ‘Battle’ Over Osun Votes Intensify

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly called Portable has thrown a jab which has been interpreted to be aimed at Davido amidst the criticism for supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Gboyega Oyetola.
Recall that Portable in the past few days has been receiving backslash for campaigning for APC, including the presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Responding to critics and throwing a shade, Portable in a video shared on his social media page said his father is not a rich man but he is the glory of his family.

Portable claimed he is a street boy and had left the home because of money.

The singer added that he would not like to suffer the same way as the father, the reason he had opened his brain.

It was earlier reported that the APC was mocked online over the hilarious display of Portable, during the mega rally of the party in Osun State.

In photos that emerged online, Portable stripped off his shorts and clothes while holding the symbol of APC, ‘the broom’.

The photos generated online reactions from many social media users, with some expressing displeasure at the singer, while others claim APC would regret calling Portable for the rally.

Sound Sultan: Family Set To Release Late Singer’s Reality CHQ Album

The family of late Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and comedian, Sound Sultan, have announced their plan to release the last album the singer was working on before he was taken by death.

Recall that Olanrewaju Fasasi (Sound Sultan) died on July 11, 2022, in the United States. The entertainer who was regarded as one of the pacesetters of modern Hip hop music in Nigeria passed on at the age of 44 after a battle with throat cancer.

Today, however, marked Sound Sultan’s first anniversary since his departure from the earth and his family has decided to commemorate the event by releasing the last project he was working on before his sad departure.

Naija News understands that the listening party for the album, Reality CHQ, was held across three cities on Sunday night.

A part of the event was held in New York, London while another was held in the Victoria Island area of Lagos, Nigeria.

Giving an update on the events, Sound Sultan’s brother, Baba Dee in a video on the late singer’s Instagram page said the album was a special project.

“LONDON VENUE …Reality Chq album listening and 1st-year remembrance of SOUND SULTAN. Come and listen to Sultans conscious music and pay tribute to our legendary icon,” Baba Dee wrote in one of the posts.

He said in another, “We are having the one-year remembrance of Sound Sultan, the great iconic Nigerian singer and we are having his official listening party for the album, Reality CHQ.

“This was the album Sound Sultan was working on before he answered the call of the Almighty. This is a very special project.

“I promised myself this project will come out and people will get to hear the voice of Sound Sultan and it’s coming out on the 11th of July.”

Veteran Nigerian Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem thanks Nigerians From Sickbed (Video)

Popular Nigeria singer and rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem on Thursday appreciated Nigerians for their support after news of being diagnosed with kidney failure made headlines.

It was earlier reported that the aide of the veteran singer, Myke Pam confirmed the development in a post on his Twitter account.

Pam in the statement noted that Abdulkareem will have a surgical operation at the end of July

Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga who also confirmed the health issue of Abdulkareem, solicited help from well-meaning Nigerians on behalf of the singer.

Abdulkareem in a video shared on his Instagram account appreciated people who reached out to him and his family.

The rapper said, ¡°this morning at the hospital

¡°Hi my people, this is me undergoing my weekly dialysis regime in high spirit and with a strong belief in the efficacy of your prayers, love and care!

¡°I sincerely want to thank and appreciate those who have reached out to me and my family in support.

¡°Your assistance, kind gestures, get well soon wishes and prayers are highly appreciated and therapeutic, to say the least.

Nigerians React As veteran singer, Edris Abdullkareem Battles Kidney Faliure

Several reactions have trailed the announcement of spokesman to the popular hip hop star, Eedris Abdulkareem that his principal is currently battling kidney failure.
The singer’s situation was announced on his Instagram page by his spokesman, Hon. Myke Pam.

Pam noted in the message that Abdulkareem will have a surgical operation at the end of July and hence would need prayers and good wishes from Nigerians.

According to him, the singer has been undergoing dialysis since the ailment was discovered. Pam, however, said there is no cause for alarm as Abdulkareem is eager to get done with the surgery and return to the musical stage in due course.

He stressed that the activist is full of life and in high spirit despite the situation.
