Popular Actor, Taiwo Hassan finally reacts to public fight with a fan in ogun

 

Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has spoken up following a public fight with a fan on the streets of Ilaro, Ogun state.

Videos trending on the Internet showed the actor in a tussle with a man in the midst of a crowd, and afterwards getting into his car and driving away.

Sharing videos of the incident, Hassan took to his Instagram page on Friday to explain the reason for the altercation.

According to him, the said fan alongside others had approached him, and demanded he pay them a sum he could not afford.

 

Despite giving them all the money he had, the said fan then proceeded to drag his clothes and this resulted in his reaction.

“Before bloggers pick this up, let me tell my side of the story and the truth,” he wrote in the caption.

He added, “I was in Ilaro, my own home town, for an inspection of a project, after which some unknown guys walked up to me for the normal appraisals. ‘We watch your movie’, ‘give up money, ‘We watched you all through our childhood’…All these as an actor we hear everyday.

“I offered all I had on me and one of them dragged me by my Agbada and demanded for an amount I can’t pay. I asked him to leave me, he said, ‘Do your worse’. The rest is story.”

The actor further admonished fans to desist from harassing entertainers for money just because they are entertainers.

“Do you pay anyone for doing your job? No. It’s our job too. Accept all we offer when we do. Remember, once a boxer, always a boxer,” he wrote.

The Police escorts attached to Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer Damini Ogulu popularly called Burna Boy have broken silence over firing shots at fun-seekers at the Cubana Club in victoria Island, Lagos.

This comes barely a week after the married woman involved in the shooting incident gave her own version of the details of what transpired at the club in a series of social media posts.

Speaking with Vanguard, the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi said the arrested police escorts, during interrogation, denied firing shots at the party and insisted that the bullet fired was not from their rifles.

The policemen were said to have argued that there were other uniformed policemen within the premises of the club when the incident happened.

The Police Public Relations Officer added that they have resorted to carrying out a ballistic investigation on the escorts’ riffles to know if they fired any shots or not.

Muyiwa Adejobi said: “Policemen attached to Burna Boy are under investigation because of the shooting at the club. Detectives have not been able to get the person who pulled the trigger because the policemen denied doing so.

“We have resorted to carrying out ballistic investigation on their rifles, to know if they fired any shot or not. They said they did not fire a shot but we just can’t believe the claim. We need an expert opinion to determine that. The outcome of the result will determine either to exonerate them or to nail them.”

According a source in UK, juwon is in a serious relationship with a UK-based businessman and she flaunted it at her last movie premier; Jibola, which hosted numbers dignitaries here in London.

It was earlier reported that Portable tied the knot with his lover and mother of his two sons, Zainab Badmus during their child’s naming ceremony on Tuesday.

Amidst the cheers from friends and family, Portable’s wife seemed unhappy in the videos that surfaced online.

Wande Coal Lands in trouble For Allegedly Beating Man In Lagos

 

Talented Nigerian singer, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal has been called out for allegedly assaulting a resident in Lagos State.

A Twitter user identified as Folarin_AA in a post on his account claimed the singer and songwriter and his team beat up his elder brother.

According to Folarin, his brother was beaten while he tried to move his car out of Wande Coal’s way.

He wrote, “You’re a b**tard Wande Coal and you would not get away with what you did to my brother this evening, My elder brother called me subbing like a child because you and your gang beat him mercilessly simply because his vehicle was in your way.

 

 

 

“This b**tard and his gang asked my brother to remove his vehicle so they could move, my brother obliged and went to get his car keys, as soon as he approached his car to open it, one of them slapped him before he could say anything else, another punched him.

“Never felt so livid in my entire life. My elder brother called me sobbing like a child. They beat him so bad he was crying so much. Who do you think you are?”

“My brother is in tears with a swollen face and black eye. All because of what? My brother is the most easy-going person I know. Always avoids trouble, so I am pretty sure he did absolutely nothing to warrant getting treated like that. You wouldn’t get away with this.”

As of the time of filing this report, Wande Coal is yet to react to the allegation.

Nigerians Drag Brymo For Supporting Tinubu

 

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Olawale Olofooro, professionally known as Brymo has been dragged online for supporting the presidential ambition of Bola Tinubu.
Brymo in a post online had claimed that the former Governor of Lagos Stats is the one with a plan for the country.

The singer further stated that he has never met the All Progressives Congress National Leader or his political affiliates, adding that critics of the APC leader should stop judging him based on old age.

The issue started online when a tweep @ambrosia_ijebu wrote, “This Jagaban (as Tinunu is also called) candidacy has truly helped me see that so many Nigerians actually don’t care about purposeful or diligent leadership.”

Brymo is his response wrote, “Yet he’s the one with a plan, we all know that. Let a city boy be president for once!.”

He added, “I’ve never met the man, or anyone who represents, or is acquainted with him, or even his relations and political affiliates – and if we stopped trying to kill them off for being old.”

The statement of the singer generated reactions online as tweeps condemned Brymo for supporting Tinubu’s 2023 ambition.

Singer 2Face Idibia visits Sound Sultan’s graveside in the US

Veteran Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Face, on Sunday, May 22 paid a visit to his colleague, Sound Sultan’s graveside in New Jersey, United States of America.

Sharing the video on his Instagram page on Monday morning, 2Face wrote that he went to pay his respect to Sound Sultan.

He was accompanied by media personality Emmanuel Ugolee and two others.

Sound Sultan passed away on July 11 last year after a long battle with the Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL), a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (throat cancer)

He was buried on the same day according to Islamic injunction.
