‘Earphones, airpods are devilish, It Will Block Your Way Forward’ – Bishop Oyedepo Warns youths
The founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo has banned youths with earphones from entering the Church.
Bishop Oyedepo explained that youths with earphones are not ready to hear God’s words, hence they should not be allowed into the Church.
He pointed out that earphones are designed by the devil to block youths from moving forward in life.
The clergyman spoke while addressing his members during Sunday’s Service at the Church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.
According to Oyedepo: “We live in a very rowdy time. Young generation, please listen to me: all these things you plug in your ear will block your way forward. It is designed by the devil to block your way forward.
“No time to hear from God. Many have never heard anything from God. They even plug it in anywhere, on the streets: noise, noise, noise! Zero access to divine guidance. Noise in the morning, afternoon, night.
“We had a situation in South Korea, I saw it in one publication. Now 10,000 Churches were said to close down within 10 years, an average of 1,000 Churches per year. Why? Children, young people will sit down in Church (with earphones): don’t hear nothing Sir.
“I know they don’t do that here because CCU (Crowd Control Unit) is here, you plug something in your ears, while you are in Church? Never. Go somewhere else. Never, you sit down tight, hear the Word or stay on the road. Life is about discipline. I started understanding the Word from the age of 16. I was responding accordingly.”
The Federal Government has adopted the Kingdom of Jordan as a new permanent Christian pilgrimage destination.
The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Reverend Yakubu Pam, disclosed this during a meeting with the Jordanian Minister of Tourism and Antiques, Nayef Alfayez.
A statement released by the NCPC media office on Monday quoted Pam as saying that the shift was meant to boost Nigeria’s relationship with the Arab nation.
It added that the shift would also focus on improving diplomatic relations with the Middle-East country in the areas of peace, tourism, agriculture and technology.
“The commission in the past had three pilgrimage destinations which are: Israel, Rome and Greece. But now Jordan has been officially added to our pilgrimage destinations,” he said.
Speaking also, the Jordanian Minister, Alfayez, commended the federal government for considering and adding the holy sites in Jordan as viable pilgrimage destinations.
Alfayez explained that the peaceful co-existence between the Christians and the Muslims was the greatest value Jordan cherished as an Islamic nation.
In a remark, the Nigerian Ambassador to Jordan, Faruk Yabo, solicited more cooperation in the area of visa procurement to enable more Nigerians to have the opportunity to visit Jordan so as to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
TB Joshua Photographs Attracts Powerful spirits working with him – Pastor Chris Okotie [VIDEO]
Nigerian televangelist, Pastor Chris Okotie has claimed that Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, popularly called Prophet TB Joshua, distributes his picture to his church members for unholy purposes.
According to Okotie, ‘naïve’ followers of Joshua have been misled.
“Joshua gives you a picture of himself. When you take his photograph, and you put it in your purse, or you put it in your bedroom, or wherever you put it, the image attracts the spirit that works with Joshua. And that spirit will visit you, and begin to appear to you,” Okotie said in a video published on Apokalupsis YouTube page on Sunday,
“Some of you who are Christians, who are not even aware of this principle, and you have the crucifix that you are wearing around your neck. That image is not of God.”
Okotie has been a long-standing critic of Joshua and once described his late colleague as the “vicar of the devil on earth.”

He added that this will enhance good governance and promote sanity in the political system.

He added that he did not know if he would seek reelection or not.
“One of the pastors, while praying, talked about the first and second tenure.
“Well, I came out in 2019 to tell the people that I wanted to become the governor but I prayed to God that only His will should be done.
“And now, I don’t even know if it is the will of God for me to even seek or push out for a second tenure.
“The only prayer I want you to be praying is that God’s will alone should be done in my life.

Unknown Gunmen Invades RCCG Church In Lagos, Kill Pastor
Suspected assailants have killed a Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor identified as Bolanle Ibrahim in the church located at the Mile 12 area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that Ibrahim who was an assistant pastor at the King of King parish of the Church at Maidan village was praying for mothers and their children during a child dedication when the assailants stormed the church.
A report had it that the gunmen invaded the church during the service and tried to drag him out, but another senior pastor in the church approached them and demanded what they wanted from him.
The deceased aunt, Mrs. Justina Alebiosu who spoke on the incident said when the senior pastor was asking the assailants who they were; they hit him with the butt of their gun in his mouth.
Alebiosu said, “even before they killed him, they showed him his picture to identify if he was actually the right person they came for.”
She said: “his death was an unfortunate one, we have lost a gentleman, it was true we were born as Muslims, but we converted to Christianity. My thinking is that my brother had busi-ness transaction with someone.”
“I was told when the assailants wanted to drag him out of the pulpit where he was praying for women who brought their children for dedication, he begged them to kill him there and that was where he was eventually killed by the gunmen.”
She added that, “the assailants also threatened to shoot any of the members of the church who dare come close to them.”
“We still have an aged mother, and his wife just gave birth, his children are still young. I am appealing to the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu to release his remains for us to bury, presently we are all down morally, because of his sudden death.”
The wife of the deceased, Kudirat Ibrahim said on the fateful day her husband was killed, he was fasting. She said for the period they courted she never suspected her husband to be a cultist, wondering where people heard that he was a cult member, “what they are saying about him are blatant lies, my late husband was a man of God and he served him to his death.”
“I wasn’t at home on the fateful day of the incident, I went to take care of my sick mother at the hospital, I had no premonition about his death, after the deed was done, nobody called to inform me.”
“I never knew my husband had been killed, I was still busy calling him to bring something for me from home, not knowing that he had already been killed, whenever I called him the person who is picking his call kept telling me my husband is preaching, it was later around 7pm that my elder brother came to break the news to me about the gruesome murder of my beloved husband.”
A Must Read For All Christians: What You Don’t Know About Missionary Dating
BY: Ogundeji Susan
I know the phrase ‘missionary dating’ might sound strange to some and some will definitely have come across it at one time or the other, some could be very familiar with it. It’s something very common these days among people who are believers. For the sakes of those not very familiar or hearing it for the first time, we will be defining the term: missionary dating.
Missionary dating is when a Christian dates a non-believer for the purpose of converting them over to Christianity. Of course, we all know this is bad but at one time or the other we’ve found ourselves in such relationships. This is a very bad idea. You aren’t the Holy Spirit who convicts people of their sins, if a man/woman promises to become a believer just to have you, he’s probably not sincere.
Thinking or deciding to spend the rest of your life with someone you do not share the same depth of faith with is as risky and deadly as jumping down from a skyscraper! Do not because of a relationship or marriage compromise on your long built faith.
We’ve heard of many stories where the man promises to allow the lady continue her faith after marriage, then he eventually forces her to convert over to his own religion, don’t you think it’s best to be on the safer side by choosing wisely and rightly while you still have that right before it’s being forcefully taken from you?
Lets look at some of the reasons why missionary dating isn’t a good idea.
Your moral values do not align(Proverbs 12:26):
Imagine being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t see anything wrong in premarital sex, holiness, righteousness and all those views Christianity holds dear, don’t you think he/she will eventually con you to his/her side?
2.nothing good ever started with dishonesty:
imagine if you later discovered one of the parties was pretending or deceiving you just to get you, how will you feel, I’m sure you will feel bad, then put yourself in the person’s shoes!
3. It is against God’s plan for marriage (2 Corinthians 6:14-16):
When we are dating, we hope it ends in marriage right? And God says in His words not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers!
That guy/lady can never change except God changes him. It’s not your responsibility to convert anyone. Stay in God’s plan for your life, enjoy life, move far away from red flags.
Someone, who: cheats, beats you, drinks, smokes, think of any vices against your Christian values, can never change all in the name of He/she loves me, a leopard can never hides it’s spot, for how long can you hide a smoke? It will manifest no matter what!
Beloved, I love you and I do not want you to end up in a toxic relationship.
Consider people who your faith and values align, leave the bad boys for the bad girls and the church girls for the church boys!
Video: Pastor Okays Lovemaking Before Marriage, Says It’s Not A Sin
Pastor Olakunle Beloved Jesukale, the general overseer of End-Time Revival Evangelical Ministry, has okayed lovemaking before marriage.
Society gazette reports that Jesukale in a video now viral on the internet faulted those saying having sex before marriage is a sin.
According to the self-proclaimed pastor, sexual intercourse before marriage is no longer a sin. Adding that tho who condemned the act do not believe in the finished works of God.
Jesukale stressed in the barely 3 minutes video that Jesus Christ has destroyed sin; hence he does not believe in the existence of sin any longer. The Pastor insisted that he believes in extreme grace.
He said: “Sex, whether it is before marriage, after marriage or during a marriage is no longer a sin.
“Sex, whether it is done before, after or within the marriage, is no longer a sin. Any preacher that says it is a sin is an enemy of the finished work, and it is not real.”
“If you are just holding yourself, saying that it is when you get married that you want to have sex, you are just discomforting yourself for nothing.
“It has nothing to do with righteousness or purity because Jesus has already renewed our mind to the understanding of what Jesus has done.
“This sin has been destroyed. This sin that people call sin is no longer sin because of what Jesus has done on the cross.
“Sin has died and so there is no sin anymore because, before God, Jesus has become that lamb of God that taketh the sins of the world completely so that people can live a life of liberty and peace. That is whenever you have sex with someone, you enter into a covenant binding you are that person.
“So because of that religious mentality in those days, they felt that since it is a covenant, you must definitely have it with somebody you have a covenant with. If you are just holding yourself, saying that it is when you get married you want to have sex, you are just holding yourself for nothing.
“It has nothing to do with holiness, righteousness or purity because Jesus already nullified sin on the cross. He already removed it once and for all and that is his truth about grace.”
‘Money! Nonsense, We Have Never Lacked it’ – Bishop Oyedepo Finally Breaks Silence On Sack Of 40 Pastors
Founder and Senior Pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has finally reacted to the reports that he sacked some pastors of his Church for not generating enough income in their branches.
One Peter Godwin, a pastor of the church had claimed that Oyedepo sacked him and other pastors for failing to make enough money. According to SaharaReporters, Godwin stated, in a video, that he was employed on the 28th of August, 2020.
Godwin who claimed to be a former pastor said he alongside forty of his colleagues were invited by the state pastor on July 1, 2021, and were all sacked over low income in their branches.
Reports has it that the video has generated reactions from Nigerians as some berated Bishop David Oyedepo, while others said the action was in line with the gospel of Christ.
Reacting to the development in a statement on Wednesday, Oyedepo described the reports making the round as ‘nonsense’.
He said the only criteria for their sack was how many souls had been won in the church. Oyedepo maintained that the pastors were sacked because they were unfruitful. According to him, the Church has never lacked money and yet have never prayed for it. “We are just simply obeying God and He is backing up what He is asking us to do. Awesome God,” the Bishop said.
The statement reads: ”When we employed 7000 pastors at once social media was dead. We have more employees than most states in Nigeria and we have owed them or taken bank overdraft once.
”The pastors were asked to go because they were unfruitful. Many of the churches built can never pay for the church building in 30 years. We have no patience for failure here.
”We have built more than 1,000 Churches in rural areas where in the next 30 years, they can never generate such fund, with each costing more than 14 Million Naira. We are hunting after souls, not income.
”People are confused about our Ministry. I learnt some fellows said, “you know, they are not bringing income, that is why they asked them to go.”
”We asked you to go because you are unfruitful. Unfruitful! Blatant failure. Doing what there? We have no patience with failure here.
”When we employed 7,000 people at a time, Social Media was dead. We have more employees in this Organisation than most of the States. No one is owed a dime salary and we don’t borrow, we don’t beg. Ask our bank whether we take overdraft. We are covenant bound, working in the light of God’ Word. Enjoying an open Heaven.
”Money: NONSENSE! We have never lacked it and yet we have never prayed for it, we are just simply obeying God and He is backing up what He is asking us to do. Awesome God.
”Now the next set is about to be flagged off, just certifying the landed property issues, nothing else. We have no lack of anything. The world is confused. Walking in the light of God’s Word. Please obey God to the full and watch out for His manifestations in your life.
”Well, you don’t need so much Mathematics to know a thousand buildings; that is not 1000 Naira each, that is not 10 Million (Naira) each, that is not 12 Million (Naira) each, that is not 14 Million (Naira) each. Some are 35 Million (Naira). At a go!
”We have never seen it ourselves. We just watched God doing it. The only criteria: How many souls have they gotten there? Then, build for them. How many souls? Not once: “how much money do they have?” Oyedepo asked.
”You want to see what we see, go and do what we do. But if you are not saved, there is nothing you do that matters,” he said.
Real Reason Why Bishop Oyedepo Sacked Over 40 Pastors Emerges
Details have emerged on why Bishop David Oyedepo’s Living Faith Church International, popularly known as Winners Chapel, sacked over 40 pastors.
Society gazette recalls Peter Godwin, who claimed to be a former pastor of the church, had alleged that he was sacked for failing to make enough money.
According to Godwin, he was employed on the 28th of August, 2020.
According to the former pastor, he alongside forty of his colleagues were invited by the state pastor on July 1, 2021, and were all sacked over low income in their branches.
But speaking to Vanguard, a senior pastor close to the helm of affairs in the church who does not want his name mentioned revealed that the pastors sacked were pastoring rural churches which depend so much on the headquarters for funding rather than bringing in money into the church’s purse.
He said: “The Living Faith Church had the vision in the year 2019 to open 10,000 rural churches nationwide.
“By the close of the year 2020, over 80 per cent of these cottage churches had been built following a prototype designed and constructed by the church professionals. Then came the human factor.
“Ordinarily, pastoring in Winners Chapel had followed a pattern of training and discipleship since its foundation 40 years ago. However, in view of the massive recruitment to take charge of the new 10,000 churches, many who were neither spiritually nor morally prepared found their way into positions of authority as Pastors-in-charge.”
The source added that with good foresight, the church headquarters appointed seasoned pastors as Mission Inspectors to regularly visit, ministers and monitor these rural churches.
“A lot of the inspectors’ reports were damaging with ungodly acts such as abuse of grace, outright deceit, absconding from church while working full-time elsewhere etc.
“Ab initio, rural churches were never intended to be money spinners; rather, they are money guzzlers because the main church solely built, equipped and maintained both the church and its pastors-in- charge,” the pastor said.
He said the story in circulation about these churches not making sufficient income was therefore patently false and misleading.
