Oba Elegushi and Olori Aramide’s 17 unbridled years of blissful marriage

One of the youngest, popular and flamboyant monarchs in Lagos and Nigeria, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, the Oba Elegushi of Ikateland and his drop-dead gorgeous wife, Oloori Sekinat Aramide celebrated another blissful year of marriage, today, Sunday, May 24, 2020.

The lovely duo, Oba Saheed and his adorable Sekinat started this novel relationship as undergraduates during their university days in Lagos and they have kept it strong for years as a royal couple and still best of friends.

With their almost two decades of unblemished royal matrimony will continue to be a case study and reference point for aspiring couples, especially in this turbulent days of crashed marriages among royalties & celebrities in their ilk.

For His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi of Ikateland and his charming wife, Olori Sekinat Aramide has been together for 17 long years of unquantifiable marital union, even in the face of skirmishes here and there to keep the marriage brimming with love. Even when reality tested their bountiful and lovely union, delectable Olori Sekinat remains unperturbed in professing unflinching love and undivided devotion to King Gushi which makes their love continue to wax stronger and stronger.

Olori Sekinat has steadfastly remained a strong pillar of success behind her husband’s resounding success in the firmament of daunting royal duties and traditional responsibilities without let or hindrance. Other women in her ilk would have caved into such inanities like the arrival of a rival in her homestead which has been her stronghold for years without any inhibition.

Oba Elegushi eulogizes Olori Sekianit on his micro-blogging site, Instagram, with pictorial reminisce of their very beginning to celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary. He left a very loving and appreciating message for her. He wrote: Which of the favours of Allah shall we deny? (Quran 55 vs 13) 17years ago, when we started this journey, it was with mixed feelings; one, there was love, true love that existed between us; secondly, the anxiety that comes with two young minds deciding to live as one.

From our humble and modest beginning, we’ve come this far and gotten better and proven to the world that ours is an inimitable choice.

Join me in thanking my Olori for all she has been. I thank you for our amazing Angels; I thank you for the peace; I thank you for the love; I thank you for bringing finesse, panache and reverence to this Stool and the kingdom; I thank you for your firm belief in our collective dream.

Only you could have started and steered this ship. I pray Almighty Allah will continue to keep us safe in love, sound in good health and success in all our affairs, till forever.  Happy Anniversary to us.”

To say that the happiest moments of their life have been those days they had spent at home in the bosom of their nuclear family, despite the lull of time posed by palace duties as they’re still fond of each other.

Prophet Joshua Iginla’s Birthday: The Celebration of an epitome of God’s Vision, Mission and Passion

+ Finally moves on with Prophetess Stella

Of a truth, leading prophetic voice in this dispensation and senior pastor of Abuja-based Champions Royal Assembly, Bro. Joshua Iginla has remained an instrument in the hands of God to heal the broken hearted and transform lives globally.

As the word of God has the ability to impact not only one’s spirit and mind but also one’s physical body, Bro. Iginla has always demonstrated how the power of God heals in significant ways. The servant of God, in his ministering element, practically inserts the word into people and it goes right into the mind and impacts every fibre of the body systems. At the end of the day, the mission gives people the opportunity to share testimonies.

At Champions Royal Assembly, people are witnesses to miracles God performs and has been performing through this humble clergy since its inception. The fast-spreading ministry, headquartered in an 80,000 seater capacity auditorium in Abuja,Nigeria has several branches across the world, while Iginla has ignited many dimensions of Christianity characterized by clear cut charity, signs, wonders and healing miracles, around the globe.

According to Bro. Iginla: “Our mandate is to wipe out tears, restore people to their destinies by the revelation of the word, manifestation of power and reality of the Holy Spirit, and put an end to affliction and to produce people of fire throughout the globe. The Bible is quite clear about the need for practical support for the needy and it is an unambiguous admonition of God to provide food, shelter and clothing for the sick, widows, children, the prisoners, the elderly and all those who are suffering,” stated the Oracle of God in a chat with newsmen.

Born in May 21st, 1969, Bro. Iginla is not just blessed with the gift of firebrand preaching, and powers of Deliverance, healing and prophecy, his mega outreaches also serve as conduit through which vital services are provided to local communities. On the side,Iginla writes books, many that inspire god-like lifestyle and victory in all ramifications.

Meanwhile, looking at pastors of large congregations today, only a select few of them do tend to contribute hugely to a wide range of charities and community outreach efforts. Among this very few is Bro. Joshua Iginla. From the early Christianity to the modern age, genuine Christians have carried with them a beneficial concept of charity that has had, and continues to have, a substantial impact on humanity. Iginla is a perfect example of this tradition of old. It is always a moment of joy and fulfillment for members of his Champion Royal Assembly and even strangers, the less privileged including widows, widowers and vulnerable children when he blesses them during his regular charity scheme. Arguably, he is a rare breed who demonstrated God’s love with practical demonstration.

In his usual manner, during his birthdays, the man of God used the opportunity of his birthday which falls in May, each year to further reach out to the less-endowed in the society.

The revered man of God, who has penchant for touching the lives of the needy, has reeled out gifts and cash running into billions. Bro. Iginla doles out money, houses and scholarships to the aged, helpless widows, the poor and orphans.

Most of the beneficiaries who usually Christians and Muslims had a tale of appreciation to tell with tears of joy as they experience goodness of God through the impact of his benevolence. They are all appreciating the God that chose him while rendering ceaseless words of prayers on Bro. Joshua Iginla. The televangelist revealed that being a Muslim did not mean they were evil and could not be assisted, hence, the reason he never discriminate in his philanthropic gestures.

It will be good to recall few of his philanthropic contributions to the lives of many as another May 21st roll by. It is worthy to note that Iginla is a record breaker and unique person in many sense. Listed are some of the benevolent occurrence that in the past had accompanied Bro Joshua Iginla’s birthday;

Brother Joshua has presented a number of cars to celebrities and actors. The very first time it happened in 2015, he gave out 22 cars and the second time he presented 32 cars as a gesture of goodwill;
Iginla gives Muslim acid victim, Jamila Yusuf, 10m , sponsors her surgery in 2016
He doles out over N23 million to 115 widows during his birthday in 2017
Also in Johannesburg, South Africa he gave several cars and millions to widwos and less privileged.
He awards Scholarship To A Girl Child, Gives Her A Cash Gift
He built a record-breaking world-class 80,000 seats auditorium in Abuja withing 13 months and currently building same capacity in South Africa,
Pastor Joshua Iginla donated N1 million Naira for the treatment of Nollywood star Elder Maya
He presented one more car to famous actor Solomon Akiyesi, and he also added N300, 000 to cover any cost.
The pastor has two television stations known as Champions Television that is broadcasted globally
In 2019, he acquired a multi-billion naira private jet for the propagation of the ministry.

As a prophet, he has predicted many political and social events, among them:

On March 9, 2014, the pastor predicted that Obasanjo would quit PDP
He accurately predicted about Buhari health issues.
The next prediction was about Boko Haram attacks in Cameroon
He predicted future World cup 2014 winner
After that, there was a prediction about the upcoming impeachment of Adamawa’s State governor..
The pastor predicted bomb attack at INEC office and accidents with Boko Haram female bombers
There were also predictions about Ebola threat, and fire outbreaks in Lagos (2015).

He’s Arguably one of the richest prophets globally as his prophetic ministry can boast of mega parishes across the world and ultra modern buildings home and abroad, yet, he remains one of the most humble clergy who has chosen to use his resources to impact the less privileged and the needy.

He has finally moved on from his initial marriage as the divorce proceedings has finally been concluded. His marriage to his new wife Prophetess Stella has now being finally made solid. The man of God who has been looking radiant and reinvigorated we gathered has finally been enjoying marital bliss as the new wife has been a source of peace and happiness to him.

W.H.O. DG Confirms Prophet T.B. Joshua’s Prophesy on COVID-19

Dr Tedros Ghebreysus

The Director General of the World Health Organisation, Dr Tedros Ghebreysus, has declared the coronavirus outbreak is “time for humility”, echoing the 2020 prophecy of Nigerian cleric TB Joshua.

On Monday 18th May 2020, Ghebreyesus, whilst addressing world leaders who had gathered for the first virtual session of the World Health Assembly amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, announced, “If this virus is teaching us anything, it’s humility. Time for humility.”

The former Ethiopian Minister of Health conceded, “For all the economic, military and technological might of nations, we have been humbled by this very small microbe.”

The Director General’s assertion corroborates with the prophetic declaration made by the founder of Emmanuel TV, Prophet T.B. Joshua at the beginning of 2020, weeks before news of this novel coronavirus infection began to spread.

Speaking through Emmanuel TV on January 5, 2020, Joshua said, “This year will be a year of HUMILITY. This year, the Lord will humble us with our challenges. Challenges can be affliction… To humble us with these is for those things to destroy us or expose us. Let us move closer to God”.

In the same prophecy, the Nigerian cleric warned of serious economic backlash worldwide and spoke of a sickness surfacing which leaders initially tried to cover.

In his address, Ghebreyesus equally spoke of the dire toll COVID-19 has taken both in terms of life and livelihoods.

Prophet T.B. Joshua

“Lives and livelihoods have been lost or upended. Hundreds of millions of people have lost their jobs. Fear and uncertainty abound. The global economy is headed for its sharpest contraction since the Great Depression,” he stated.

“The pandemic has brought out the best – and worst – of humanity: Fortitude and fear; solidarity and suspicion; rapport and recrimination. This contagion exposes the fault lines, inequalities, injustices and contradictions of our modern world. It has highlighted our strengths, and our vulnerabilities,” he further detailed.

Ghebreyesus then welcomed the call for an independent probe into the response to the pandemic saying learning was important.

In related news, the British Physician and former Director at the World Health Organisation, Prof Karol Sikora, said there is a “real chance that the virus will burn out naturally before any vaccine is developed.

Sikora, who spoke via Twitter, added that statistics showed the virus was “petering out by itself.”

This also correlates with TB Joshua’s declaration about COVID-19 from its onset. On April 20th 2020, he declared via Facebook: “Thank God that nature is fighting back; nature is eliminating it in its own way. It is getting to its peak and is coming down. Naturally, it will go the way it came.”

Seyi Tinubu’s Noella Foundation & Partners feeds thousands of Fasting Muslims

Ramadan fasting month was relatively made easy for many in Lagos because Seyi and Layal Tinubu founded Noella Foundation in partnership with Bolajoko Fadipe owned Food Clique and BUA group are doing a wonderful job. The team is helping in no small way the their collaboration which has gone a long way in reducing the impact of the hardship in town on those fasting by lessening the burden of looking for what to break with on faithfuls by providing free daily Iftar meals (the evening meal with which Muslims end daily Ramadan fast at sunset) at selected locations across the State.

The idea which was announced by Noella Foundation in partnership with Food Clique at the beginning of the fast was later supported by Abdul-Samad Rabiu owned BUA Group is currently at the last count feeding over 6,000 faithful who are likely to have been finding it difficult to conveniently provide both Sahur (the meal consumed daily early in the morning by Muslims before fasting, during the Islamic month of Ramadan. The meal is eaten before fajr prayer) and Iftar because of the effect of COVID-19 forced lockdown on individuals’ economy.

At the moment processed daily Iftar meals being distributed by the team is in excess of 6,000 in different locations across Lagos State. This is also not stopping the continuous distribution of the COVID-19 Emergency FoodBox Initiative support which is to give palliatives to those who are finding it difficult during the Corona Virus forced lockdown and are still not on the list of essential service providers the later partial lockdown opening order of the government granted right to go back to work. They have till date been able to give more than 700,000 meals to more than 23,000 persons across the State.

It is also important to know that Noella Foundation’s relationship with Food Clique has been dated back to late 2018 when the Bolajoko Fadipe owned NGO won Seyi Tinubu’s Christmas Cash Prize giveaway for their effort towards eradicating hunger and they has since then work together on several activities long before their recent one on the Covid-19 ordered lockdown which has increased the numbers of residents of Lagos State exposed to the pang of hunger. The team had worked and likely still working together on the monthly community kitchen project. The idea which will see their team visit various communities in Lagos State every last Saturday of the month to erect a their kitchen where they feeds the needy in the area good, sumptuous and nutritious food in hygiene and clean environments.

The daily Iftar meal project is however a month specialized project aimed to cushion the effect of the economic hardship caused by the outbreak of the pandemic on the fasting faithful during this Ramadan period and it is currently restricted to people in Èbúté Mẹtta, Oshodi, Surulere, Awoyokun community of Onipanu, Onikoyi Road Ikoyi, and Parkview, with the possibility of extending it to other areas before the fasting ends.

Covid-19: How GTBank Erroneous Management Decision may have Expose Nigerians to more Infection

Segun Agbaje, GTBank Managing Director

Nigerians heaved a sigh of relief when the president recently partially lifted the lockdown placed on activities in the country over the outbreak of the pandemic Corona Virus. Little did the government know that this may likely end up exposing Nigerians more to the dreaded disease by the reckless decision of an organization that should know more like the Guaranty Trust Bank.

It is however disappointing how GTBank, an organization that is probably the first amongst the private sector to contribute towards the treatment of the Covid-19 disease with their construction and equipping of a one hundred and ten (110) bed isolation center, which was handed over to the Lagos State government with a further donation to the Federal government to expectedly fight the spread will be involved in an action that is probably going to see more Nigerians getting infected than stop the spread.

The bank’s decision to however expose their customers to the virus with their decision to restrict the numbers of branches they will be opening when the government decided to ease the lockdown is like giving silent approval for the spread of the virus they are also campaigning against at the same time.

Pictures and videos revealed that the bank did not think through about their decision to open very limited branches. Though they made sure the number of customers entering the banking hall is few but the population of their customers waiting outside the banking hall would have seen to it that the effort to reduce customers inside the banking hall to maintain social distancing has little or no impact in checkmating the spread.

Information made available by the bank on their social media shows it was a management decision to make sure it is only eleven (11) branches of the bank that is made operational in the whole of Lagos while Abuja only has four (4) branches active and this we gathered led to the mammoth crowd of customers that besieged the active branches.

Though the number of working branches has since been increased but pictures and videos shows the irresponsible decision is having the capacity to have exposed many of their customers to the virus and thereby increasing the spread of the disease Nigerians are trying so hard to reduce.

Offerings is Necessary but not Compulsory – Prophet T.B. Joshua

Nigerian Pastor TB Joshua has revealed his position regarding asking for monetary offerings through his popular Christian television channel Emmanuel TV.

Although Joshua was not physically present during the broadcast of Sunday 3rd Mary 2020, his ministers responded to a question posed by a viewer about how the cleric raises funds as he is never heard preaching on the subject of tithes and offerings.

The cleric described giving offerings as “Scriptural” but emphasised that people should give as “God prompts their conscience”.

“They may not be many but people of conscience are giving – I mean, the right people are giving genuinely, for the salvation of their soul—and their giving is blessed of God,” he conceded.

“Wrong people have to be reminded many times before they can give because it is not from their heart,” he explained, clarifying that wrong people referred to “dubious” or “corrupt” individuals who “who got their money, their things from the wrong source.”

He elucidated that such people would give “to be seen, to be heard and to be praised here”, adding that if they later hit hard times, they would often write letters to the church reminding them of the money they had previously given.

He described that such people misguidedly felt their offerings were a form of “bargaining with God to get what they want” or a way of manipulating Him “to give approval to their selfish motives.”

“Giving is like serving. Both should be done with joy – without being reminded, because you don’t need to be reminded to do that which gives you joy,” he continued, adding that believers should ask for the Holy Spirit’s help in giving, receiving and asking.

“The force behind the money given determines the kind of money it is,” Joshua thoughtfully expanded. “When we inherit stolen wealth, we would live under a stolen future, thereby mortgaging our future. Remember, what comes from God goes to Him.”

The cleric stated he was “very careful” when it came to receiving offerings from congregants. “If I receive something from you, the source and the manner you give will determine whether it’s a blessing or a curse that I receive from you,” he posited.

Relating the question to the current situation in which churches have been shut worldwide due to the coronavirus pandemic, Joshua explained such a period “demands conscience”.

“If you give something from your heart, it will bless you that gives it and also bless the person or ministry that receives it,” the cleric concluded in the interactive program, citing Apostle Paul’s admonishment in 2 Corinthians to give as “each one proposes in his heart, not grudgingly, for God loves a cheerful giver”.

Joshua has gained a reputation for not focusing on money during his sermons, asking for offerings during his broadcasts or selling merchandise during his large overseas crusades.

With nearly 1.7 million YouTube subscribers, he is also one of the platform’s largest users who doesn’t monetise his videos with the placement of third-party advertisements.

During the global lockdown, his ministry has engaged in extensive humanitarian programs, assisting vulnerable citizens most affected by the economic impact of the crisis in nations spanning Europe, Africa, South America and USA.
