This is in sync with the words of Maurice Elias, Professor of Psychology, “without kindness, our communities, families, schools, and classrooms become places of incivility.” As we get the blast of the season, the 127 years strong banking brand in furtherance of its kindness campaign has created a simple calendar to ease your ability to create a SPARK in the lives of people around you.

At FirstBank, SPARK stands for Start Performing Acts of Random Kindness. The SPARK initiative was launched 4 years ago to make a difference in the nation by seeking to inspire and institutionalize kindness. By encouraging kindness, empathy and consideration for others, SPARK is placing FirstBank at the forefront of the social impact space. The unique way FirstBank is amplifying kindness is through its different directorates and departments. This way the Bank is reaching more communities, touching more lives, and spreading kindness.

The FirstBank kindness drive stands on three (3) pillars of compassion, civility, and charity. Compassion and charity readily come tops when we think about kindness, and FirstBank is championing the cause to also promote civility through the SPARK initiative. Civility covers the aspects of kindness that does not cost you anything to use in igniting the world around you. Imagine as you get to the venue of the next FirstBank’s DecemberIssaVybe show, and you give up a parking lot closer to the event hall to the car behind you?

Award winning American Rapper, Lil Wayne Lands in trouble For Reportedly Pulling assault riffle on His Bodyguard

Lil Wayne, a popular foreign rapper, is being investigated by the police for allegedly pulling a rifle on one of his own bodyguards during a dispute at his home.

According to TMZ, one of the rapper’s bodyguards reported to the cops that he and Wayne got into a fight at Wayne’s Hidden Hills, California home, resulting in physical violence with a brandished firearm.

Following the initial altercation, the guard alleges that the rapper requested him to leave the residence, but things escalated when he went to the restroom. According to a source close to Wayne, the incident did not occur, and the rapper does not even own a pistol.
The guard claimed, however, that the rapper pulled out an AR-15, which was when he went to the gated community’s guard shack and phoned the police.

Before the cops arrived to investigate the rapper’s story, he had already fled. The guard told police the fight started with Wayne accusing him of taking photos and leaking them to the media.

Other law enforcement sources familiar with the case told TMZ that the guard’s claim is doubtful, and he had no marks or injuries on his body from the purported physical confrontation.

The guard also does not want to pursue charges against Wayne, and police will investigate despite their doubts about some of the allegations.

Mr Macaroni gives Fresh update on Cute Abiola following weeks in Navy custody

Popular skit maker, Mr Macaroni gives an update on his colleague, Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyin better known as Cute Abiola who is currently in the custody of the Nigerian Navy.

Recall that Cute Abiola was arrested by the security arm for violating and breaching the Armed Forces of Nigeria social media policy.
The Navy revealed that the matter is an administrative one and is being treated as such.

However, following weeks in detention, Mr Macaroni in response to numerous questions as regards the condition of the online comedian, took to Twitter to assert that he’s still in detention and can only be seen by his wife and mother.

Macaroni further noted that he doesn’t want to speak much on Cute Abiola’s case so that his statement wouldn’t be taken in bad faith.

He wrote:

“A lot of people have been asking me about Cute Abiola. I don’t have much information as only his Wife and Mother are allowed to see him. And I do not want to speak much on the matter so that my statement isn’t taken in bad faith. But last I checked he is still in custody.

His wife told me personally that she and his mom are granted access to see him. The Nigerian Navy has said that he is in custody for breaching some codes and refusing to obey order. As a military officer, he is answerable to their command and under their jurisdiction.

This isn’t a new thing in the Military. But as a public figure, Cute Abiola has millions of followers worldwide hence the reason for the consistent concern from his fans and friends.
We can only continue to send our best wishes to him.”
